Suites and Sweets.

I am not a big fan of desserts, and I very rarely bake, which would explain why this is such a small section and why I have combined biscuits and cookies with custards and crumbles. Ruth is the baker of the family, and when it comes to dessert I prefer something like cheese and port, but occasionally I produce something, especially if we have guests. Desserts can, of course, be incredibly fiddly, and if you see presentation as the top criterion, then go for it. As with every other aspect of cooking, I try to steer the easiest course, as the recipes below will testify.
