Bacon, Ham and Other Preserved Meat Mains.

Everybody’s favourite ingredients, and surprisingly economical. Both are quite expensive per se, but as they have such strong flavours a little goes a long way. Half the normal meat quantity of a given recipe is quite sufficient for bacon or ham. They are endlessly useful, and if you have a few pieces of either in the fridge you have the basis of a meal.
