Pork with Walnuts.

Another quick and easy meal that can be prepared and cooked very quickly, provided you have the doings.

Ingredients.

¼ cup cooking oil.

300g thinly sliced pork fillet.

Salt to taste.

2 tblsp Walnut Sauce*.

1/3 cup chopped walnuts.

2 cups diced mixed vegetables.

1 cup chicken stock.

1 tblsp cornflour.

Method.

Heat the oil in a sauté pan over a hot flame and add the meat. Chow until sealed then add the salt and the Walnut Sauce. Chow until all is combined then lower the heat. Continue to chow until the meat is cooked through. Raise the heat again and add the walnuts, chow briefly then add the vegetables.

Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are heated right through and softened. Stir the cornflour into the chicken stock until dissolved then add to the pan. Allow to come to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes to cook off the raw taste of the flour. Serve immediately over noodles.
